Belgrade to Novi Sad by Car: Route, Tolls and Rental Tips

Novi Sad is one of the easiest road trips from Belgrade. The direct motorway makes it suitable for a day trip, while a car lets you combine the city centre, the Danube and Petrovaradin Fortress on your own schedule.

Plan the drive

Use current navigation before departure and allow extra time when leaving or returning to Belgrade. The motorway route is tolled. Collect the entry ticket and keep it until the exit unless the rental vehicle has an electronic TAG device.

What to see
